Dream Portal
A photoreal world explorer that runs in your browser. Real locations captured as 3D Gaussian splats — the Swiss Alps, the back of the Hollywood sign, an underwater reef, a desert at golden hour — that you orbit or fly straight through. App #1 of the 100-apps-in-public sprint.

It started as 'type a place and AI generates a world' — but that looked like a flat, fake photo. So the core was scrapped and rebuilt around Gaussian splats: real places scanned in 3D. You don't look at a picture, you stand inside the Swiss Alps, the back of the Hollywood sign, an underwater reef, a desert at golden hour.
Orbit a world, or switch to first-person fly mode (WASD) and soar through it. Every scene gets cinematic atmosphere composed live over the splats — a real sky, god-ray light shafts, per-scene fog and colour grade, bloom. You can even paste your own phone capture and walk through a place you scanned.
100% free, no backend: the Luma web SDK streams public captures, rendered through React Three Fiber. Built, shipped, and launched in public as app #1 of the sprint.
